Research activities and skills

Research field includes:
Role of nutrition in oral hygiene. She coordinates the project "Healthy and Well-fed Teeth!" for the prevention of dental caries in early childhood, which is an educational project for parents and children 0-10 years;
Role of nutrition in prevention of diseases, she organizes meetings to inform the public about these topics;
Health status and nutritional habits in different population (children, athletes);
Effect of a dietary intervention on weight excess, high blood pressure, endothelial dysfunction and vascular inflammation markers in children with at least one risk factor for CVD.

She is also involved in biocompatibility project to understand the effect of different substances (food extracts, nanoparticles) on human body.
